August 2, 2007 | SAN FRANCISCO, CA — TimeBridge today announced that Ellen Salisbury has joined the company as vice-president of engineering and operations. As the latest addition to TimeBridge's executive team, Salisbury brings proven leadership experience and a wealth of knowledge in product development, operations management and support.
"As we prepare to introduce our breakthrough Personal Scheduling Assistant to the public, we are pleased to have Ellen on board to offer leadership and guidance for this next phase of our business," says Yori Nelken, founder and CEO of TimeBridge. "Ellen's experience with consumer-facing product engineering and management is a great asset to TimeBridge and will help us continue to offer the only solution that has successfully solved scheduling."
Prior to TimeBridge, Salisbury was director of Yahoo! Research Berkeley. She joined Yahoo! in 2004, with Yahoo!'s acquisition of Stata Labs where she was senior vice president of products and services and most notably introduced new development processes to improve the organization's overall product quality and timely delivery. Salisbury also served as the vice president of engineering at Brightmail and as vice president of data warehousing at Sybase, Inc. where she directed a team responsible for delivering leading edge, high quality products on time and driving partnerships with major technology vendors.
"Developing an efficient scheduling solution is not easy due to the complex social processes associated with it, but TimeBridge has successfully created an integrated technology that takes the pain out of this process faced by busy professionals everyday," says Salisbury. "It's an exciting time to join TimeBridge as we gear up to release our new Personal Scheduling Assistant and I look forward to continuing to build a great product."
TimeBridge has created the first Personal Scheduling Assistant to give busy professionals a faster, more efficient way to schedule their time. TimeBridge's one-step scheduling is the most efficient way to schedule meetings with large groups or individuals across time zones, calendaring systems and companies. TimeBridge allows users to easily schedule meetings, share their availability with others, and connect directly with calendars including Outlook and Google Calendar. While online calendars help users track their time, TimeBridge facilitates the social, and often complex process of getting busy people together — in person, on the phone or online. TimeBridge is backed by blue-chip venture capital firms Mayfield Fund and Norwest Venture Partners. For more information, go to www.timebridge.com.
