TimeBridge Teams With Box.Net To Make Meetings More Productive
Users Can Now Collaborate on Documents, Before, During and After Meetings Using Box.net's Cloud Content Management Platform
December 09, 2009 | Berkeley, CA — TimeBridge , the service that helps busy professionals schedule and run great meetings, today announced an integration partnership with Box.net , provider of online collaboration services. This new feature allows TimeBridge users to upload, share, and collaborate on critical meeting documents. As documents are revised, organizers and attendees can make sure they walk into meetings prepared to discuss, decide, and act—making meetings a better use of time for everyone.
Powered by Box.net’s customizable OpenBox API, this new integration allows users to collaborate on relevant files and documents in their TimeBridge Meeting Room so each individual attendee, present in-person or virtually, can access meeting details from the minute invitations are sent to the conclusion of the meeting, and beyond. This feature alliance gives users the option to securely work together on any file, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations and images on a simple and slick UI that complements TimeBridge’s own feature-rich application. TimeBridge users can access Box.net’s functionality through the TimeBridge Meeting Room or as they schedule a meeting. Likewise, Box users can now easily access TimeBridge’s service from their Box.net accounts to schedule meetings.
This week, TimeBridge also announced the addition of Action Items to its Meeting Room. This allows organizers to assign tasks to attendees and set due dates. The Meeting Room provides organizers and attendees with a centralized home base for essential meeting information and functionality, like conferencing options, venue information, directions, attendee details, and options to communicate with attendees.
As a new OpenBox development partner, TimeBridge aims to extend its support of meeting management so that organizers can always run the most productive meetings. The new integration coupled with TimeBridge’s affordable and easy-to-use web and phone conferencing and one-step scheduling, make TimeBridge the ideal platform for fostering collaboration and creativity around meetings.
“We are always focused on giving business leaders the suite of tools that help them rally and reign in all meeting details. In that pursuit we listen to our users, and file-sharing has been one of the most popular features requested this fall,” said Yori Nelken, CEO of TimeBridge. “We tapped Box.net to further enhance our service and provide an excellent and trusted content management solution that meeting organizers will find inherently simple, useful and reliable.”
“TimeBridge has developed a powerful productivity suite to facilitate meetings. The expansion of its offering to include collaboration, sharing and access to relevant content is a huge win for TimeBridge and Box.net users,” said Karen Appleton, vice president of business development at Box.net. “Our goal at Box.net is to provide a best-of-breed solution with the ability to access additional applications as desired. In this case, TimeBridge makes planning and conducting great meetings easier and more efficient for all.”
