TimeBridge Announces General Availability of Personal Scheduling Assistant

As TimeBridge exits public beta, Personal Scheduling Assistant reaches 11,000 users and receives Editor's Choice award and four-star rating from PC Magazine

December 11, 2007 | SAN FRANCISCO, CA — TimeBridge today announced the general availability of its Personal Scheduling Assistant which gives busy professionals a faster, more efficient way to schedule meetings and manage their time. Since its official unveiling in September, TimeBridge has generated positive reviews from users and media; more than 11,000 busy professionals have taken advantage of the Personal Scheduling Assistant's unique capabilities. In a recent PC Magazine review, TimeBridge also received the prestigious Editor's Choice award and a four-star rating.

"TimeBridge's rapid growth and the glowing reviews from various journalists and bloggers, highlighted by the Editor's Choice award from PC Magazine, is further validation of our approach to solving the complex scheduling process," said Yori Nelken, CEO of TimeBridge. "Throughout our beta testing phase we have received invaluable feedback from our users, and the Personal Scheduling Assistant is now fully ready for prime-time with some key new features and enhancements."

As a part of TimeBridge's general availability, meeting organizers can download a new version of the Outlook Connector that connects TimeBridge directly with Outlook to simplify the scheduling process and help organizers and attendees share availability across organizations and calendaring systems. For people who are invited to attend TimeBridge-initiated meetings, there is no requirement to register or subscribe; they can quickly click and respond to the meeting request.

"Therative is a young company that runs very lean. We outsource most of our non-core functions, and do not have IT support on staff," said Peter Scocimara, CEO of Therative, a San Francisco-based company bringing advanced medical treatments to the consumer market. "TimeBridge is the only scheduling software that allows us to schedule not only our internal meetings and resources, but also better manage and integrate meetings with our numerous outsourced resources."

TimeBridge was awarded the Editor's Choice award and four-star rating from PC Magazine due to the Personal Scheduling Assistant's simplicity and deep-integration with Outlook and Google calendars. The review commends TimeBridge's time brokering functionality, free/busy sharing, design, support and the overall market need it fills.

Reviewer Michael Muchmore says, "TimeBridge is a well-designed, easy-to-use Web site/service that makes setting up meetings with people at different companies a far more streamlined process than what most people do today — endless e-mailing back and forth. Best of all, it's free." He continues, "[TimeBridge] works with multiple calendaring applications and handles availability and time-zone issues with aplomb."
